Poisoning is defined as exposure to a substance that is harmful to your body. If you or someone else has been exposed to a poison, please contact the number above. The following information has been derived from the National Poisons Centre:
• Poisons can be swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through or injected under the skin
• Acute poisoning results from poison entering the body in a short time
• Chronic poisoning results from gradual accumulation of a poison
• Some substances can cause serious effects even in small amounts and you should act immediately
• Check the packet or bottle for instructions and call the National Poisons Centre
• Dial 111 in an emergency when urgent medical care is required
• Although our products are natural and chemical-free, caution must still be exercised
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and open wounds
• Wear protective gloves
• Do not spray directly onto humans or pets
• Keep out of reach and sight from children - please note that not all of our products have a safety cap
• Keep the room well ventilated
• Do not use Urine Off or any other cleaning product as an air freshener
• Prolonged and direct exposure to UV light can be harmful to the eyes - this is generally only a concern for professionals who regularly use the Institutional Urine Finder
• The output in the Mini LED Urine Finder is not so bright as to cause harm; however, caution must be exercised by never looking directly into the light
• For extra protection, most prescription glasses and safety glasses generally have a UV coating and can be worn during use
